El proyecto nace en una fábrica industrial con fachada de los años 30, recuperada y reinterpretada como mercado de cocinas donde se fusiona la historia industrial del barrio con la gastronomía contemporánea y el uso social del entorno.

    Su estética de patio industrial, elementos originales restaurados y materiales con pátina de época, junto al ambiente vivo y urbano del Cabanyal, hacen de Mercader una localización visualmente atractiva para rodajes que busquen escenas gastronómicas, contextos urbanos históricos o atmósferas con legado industrial mediterráneo.

    El Mercader Cabanyal is a gastronomic and cultural space with a strong historical character located at 16 Joan Mercader Street, in the traditional district of Valencia known as Poblats Marítims, a seaside neighbourhood next to the Mediterranean Sea. The project was born in an industrial factory with a 1930s façade, which has been restored and reinterpreted as a food market where the industrial history of the neighbourhood merges with contemporary gastronomy and the social use of the environment.

    Its industrial courtyard aesthetic, restored original features and period patina materials, together with the lively, urban atmosphere of Cabanyal, make Mercader a visually appealing location for film shoots seeking gastronomic scenes, historic urban contexts or atmospheres with a Mediterranean industrial heritage.
